Of a principle conceived as a synonym of unbreakable lightness. And therefore as a symbol of another metaphysical option, as opposed to the one that would dominate throughout the history of the West. The metaphysical option that Ernesto Grassi would<br />have brought back to the power of “fantasy”. In short, it is a question of rethinking the fantastic universal of Vico, of rethinking the Baroque, and of conceiving the cognitive or creative operation as a true subtraction of weight – according to the precious indication of Italo Calvino.
