This issue of “Teoria” aims to explore the various ways in which our relationship with food not only shapes our lives but also interacts with global processes. To address this topic, it features essays that focus in particular on our need to feed ourselves from both an ethical and a legal perspective. Concepts such as “responsibility,” “precautionary principle,” “right to food,” and “environmental impact” are therefore discussed. . This thematic section is followed by the one in which is published the essay that won the Sainati Prize 2025, dedicated to the memory of Vittorio Sainati, professor of Theoretical Philosophy at the University of Pisa and founder of ‘Teoria’.
